QUICK GUIDE: Lost in Paris

with No Comments

When you go to a foreign city, even armed with Google Maps or TripAdvisor, you’re going to get lost…and after a while, you’ll probably become hungry. That’s what happened to me. So here are some recommendations to restaurants in random spots in Paris!

Le Voltaire
This is a small café right outside Musée D’Orsay (so maybe you aren’t that lost and just really hungry). Simple French fare and okay prices, perfect for grabbing a quick bite before heading off to explore the city.

Address: 27 Quai Voltaire, 75007 Paris, France

Sobane

If you’re Asian like me or if you’re just craving Asian food, Sobane is the perfect place to go. This is a really good Korean restaurant located in an alley near the Paris Opéra. There are a lot of other Asian cuisine restaurants nearby as well!

Address: 5 Rue de la Tour d’Auvergne, 75009 Paris, France

 Léon de Bruxelles

Your everyday chain-store restaurant! The flagship store is located in Champs-Élysées but its everywhere. Léon de Bruxelles is known for its mussels. Yum!

Address: 63 Av. des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France

Christmas Markets

If you’re going to Paris during the Christmas holidays (starting from November), you should definitely check out the Christmas Markets, which are found in many other European nations as well. You can find them on Montparnasse,  Champs-Elysées, near the Eiffel Tower, Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and La Défense. Just find a major boulevard and there will definitely be a Christmas Market where you can enjoy mulled wine and lots of traditional holiday treats!
