The best macarons in Downtown LA is said to be found at Bottega Louie. They also have a restaurant in the building as well as many other kinds of cakes and gifts that you can buy! Try their Earl Grey macaron which is super pretty to take pictures of.

Le Petit Paris is a restaurant that serves French cuisine (hence the name). I would recommend getting the duck here which made me think of home. A place to go with friends to hang out.

Daikokuya is a little ramen shop in Little Tokyo which has AMAZING chashu (it melts yummm). Order the Daikokuya combo which gives you their famous tonkatsu ramen, a salad, and your choice of rice (chicken, pork, eel).
Tips
- Wait time can be long as it is a really small space although we came in at 2pm on a Friday and got a ten minute wait time which was okay.
- CASH ONLY!
- Park at Aiso Parking Lot which is only a few steps away and $1/hour
Address: 327 E 1st St Los Angeles, CA 90012 (Little Tokyo, Downtown Los Angeles)
In Koreatown there’s a place called Tofu and Noodles which has lots of traditional Korean noodle options. My sister and I really loved the hot tea (probably because we were exhausted from the heat) and we ordered a bowl of janchi guksu (Korean Festival Noodles) and a clam noodle soup.
Tips:
- Good thing about Tofu and Noodles is that it has its own FREE parking lot, but its really small so come before the rush around 6pm.
